I was on the highway eating scrambled eggs and Maggi enroute Pune Airport. Pune Airport was dull yet modern scanning faces and requiring Digi Yatra and a very slow security check. Lucky enough to get a window seat which I gave up when the lady next to me asked if the seats can be switched. I don't know why I can't say "NO" had it been a gentleman or a kid I still would have agreed to switch. I need to start saying "NO"

Reached Marathahalli where a friend of mine picked me up. I was shocked to see the area and his lifestyle. Had he been in his home his bedroom would have been 1.5x bigger, brighter, happening and for himself. No roads with drainage lines flooding, buildings so close that spiderman would never throw a web to go from one roof to other. Bangalore was on red alert I somehow managed to reach for interview on time without being wet. 

I travelled all the way to Bangalore to visit the Amazon office and give a virtual interview. Came back to my friend place navigating through the streets of Bangalore missing turns and getting back on track. 

Slept for a while and then started back. Enroute we visited Thalassery Cafe. It was a wonderful place serving dishes I had never seen and heard of. All of them were the best. I recall having something called Chicken Patti, I think that's what I can recall.

Back home and back to routine.

Lesson: At the comfort of your home you are the King by default. Away from home you need to earn the title.
